FAQ

Game FAQ

Is Fatebound pay-to-win?

No. Fatebound is built around fair free-to-play. Every hero and pet can be summoned and evolved through normal play, premium currency is earned by playing, and the shop only ever sells cosmetics and convenience — never power. Two players with the same team are perfectly equal, whatever either of them spent.

What kind of game is Fatebound exactly?

It's a pixel-art fantasy RPG that mixes collection and strategy. You summon heroes and hatch pets, evolve them into stronger forms, combine them into a battle deck, and duel other players in the arena. Think of it as a collector's RPG with a card-battler's tactical depth and a competitive ranked ladder.

How long is a typical duel?

Most duels run just a few minutes — fast enough that 'one more' is always tempting, but with enough decisions that skill clearly decides the winner. Longer, grindier matchups exist for players who love the deep end, but the core loop is snappy and mobile-friendly.

Do heroes and pets both matter, or just heroes?

Both, deeply. Heroes are your main damage and utility, but pets provide the buffs, shields and vision that tie a team together. A clever pet pairing can swing a duel as hard as a stronger hero, which is a big part of what makes deckbuilding in Fatebound interesting.

How is the game kept balanced?

Seasons last about two months. Each season brings a soft rank reset, balance adjustments informed by arena and ladder data, and new heroes, pets and evolutions. We publish patch notes for every change so you always understand why the meta shifted.
