Lore: The World of the Fatebound
Every hero you summon was once bound to a fate they did not choose. This is the story of the Loom that wrote those fates, the city that floats above the clouds, and the war over who gets to rewrite what comes next.
The Loom
High above the mortal world, beyond the clouds, hangs the Loom — an endless weave where every possible destiny is a thread. For an age, the Loom spun without a weaver: fates were written and cut, and no one who lived inside the pattern could see it, let alone touch it.
The city above the clouds
Where the Loom's light falls, a city grew — spires of crystal and gold bridging islands that drift on the wind. It became a gathering place for those rare souls who could sense the threads: the Fatebound. Heroes and beasts alike were drawn to it, each carrying a destiny they were beginning to question.
Those who defy their fate
Not every thread is accepted. The Fallen Angel was written as a servant of judgement, yet she chose mercy, and her wings turned from pure white to white shot through with shadow. Kayn, the azure reaper, was fated to die young in a forgotten war — and refused, wreathing himself in soulfire to walk on. Each hero you summon is one of these: a destiny bent, a thread pulled loose.
“A fate seen,” the old summoners say, “is a fate that can be changed.”
The pets of the Loom
The threads give life to more than heroes. From crystal eggs touched by the Loom's light hatch the companions — the Ember Drake born of a volcano's heart, the Lumen Cat crowned in starlight, the fox that fell as a shooting star. They grow and evolve as the fate within them unspools, bound to the summoner who raises them.
The war of threads
Now the city is divided. Some Fatebound believe the Loom should be left to write as it will; others believe destiny belongs to those strong enough to seize it. That argument is settled the only way the Loom allows — in the arena, hero against hero, thread against thread.
When you summon a team and step into a duel, you join that war. Which fate will you bind? Begin your story and find out.
